Jim Nasr is the CEO of Acoer, a company developing secure, real-time healthcare software powered by blockchain technology (Hedera blockchain).
Before leading Acoer, Jim served as Chief Software Architect at the CDC, where he oversaw the development of software architecture for the Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services (CSELS). His role involved aligning with CDC and HHS strategies and leading collaborations with other CDC Centers and federal agencies on software development and deployment.
His work at Acoer focuses on how AI, blockchain, and decentralised technologies can be used together to create trustworthy, efficient, and patient-centric healthcare solutions. In this talk, Jim will explore the growing intersection of AI, blockchain, and healthcare, examining how these technologies are influencing the future of health data management. He will discuss the role of decentralisation, the potential benefits of integrating existing healthcare data with decentralised systems, and real-world applications of the Hedera blockchain.
